This past weekend, Insight Recovery was honored to sponsor and take part in the City of Woburn’s Live Free Fun Run & Mental Health Festival.

A big thank you to Mackenzie Dezieck and The City of Woburn for including us in such a meaningful event. It was inspiring to see so many families, community members, and organizations come together to support mental health awareness and remind others that help, support, and connection are always within reach.

The sunshine made it even more special!

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, the conversation shouldn’t stop here. Taking care of your mental health is not just something to focus on in May. It matters every single day. Whether that means setting boundaries, reaching out for support, taking a break when you need one, or simply checking in with yourself a little more often, small steps still matter.

Healing and growth are not always linear, and everyone’s journey looks different. Be patient with yourself, give yourself grace, and remember that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Take care of your mind the same way you would take care of your body. You deserve support, balance, and space to breathe.

OCD is still widely misunderstood, which is exactly why awareness, education, and community matter so much. We were proud to stand alongside the OCD community at the Boston OCD Walk in support of the IOCDF and everyone helping push these conversations forward. 💚 International OCD Foundation

Insight Recovery is proud to be sponsoring the Boston OCD Walk in support of the International OCD Foundation. OCD is still widely misunderstood, and even with the progress that has been made over time, there is still so much more to learn, raise awareness around, and continue educating on, which is why it is so important for us to keep showing up and supporting this community in meaningful ways.

This walk has grown into something powerful, creating a space that is judgment free, supportive, and centered around real understanding and connection, and we are beyond grateful to be part of it and to stand behind a cause that truly matters to us.

With May comes longer days, warmer weather, and a shift in routine. While that can feel refreshing, it can also bring up stress, pressure, or emotional ups and downs that aren’t always talked about.

Mental health care is just as important during the brighter seasons. You don’t have to be in crisis to check in with yourself, set boundaries, or ask for support.

If things feel off, heavy, or just not quite right, that’s worth paying attention to. You deserve support that meets you where you are, no matter the time of year.

We’re here if you need a place to start. 🤍

If things have been feeling heavy lately, you don’t have to keep carrying it on your own. Sometimes the first step is just having a space where you can slow down, talk things through, and be met with care.

Reaching out doesn’t have to be a big, overwhelming step. It can be something small, like starting a conversation. We're here whenever you need us.

Some thoughts show up like they mean something.
Like they need to be figured out or taken seriously.

But thoughts aren’t predictions.
And not every thought deserves a response.

You can let it be there without engaging with it.

As the seasons begin to change, spring can be a reminder to slow down and check in with yourself.

Longer days, fresh air, and a little more sunlight can have a meaningful impact on your mental well being. Even small moments like stepping outside, taking a breath, or giving yourself a break can make a difference.

Growth does not have to be drastic to matter. Taking care of yourself in simple ways is still progress. 🌸
