Terry’s dedication and positive attitude make a lasting impact on residents, families, and staff every single day. As one nomination shared, “Terry comes in everyday with a smile on his face. At St. Joseph Living Center, we have been so lucky to welcome a very special new volunteer — and our youngest one yet!

A big thank you to Carter for helping call out our beloved BINGO numbers and making sure everyone stayed on track during the games. Our residents absolutely adore him, and as his table mates say, “He’s a great kid!”

On Friday, as we finished National Nursing Home Week at St. Joseph Living Center, our staff enjoyed a well-deserved BBQ celebration filled with laughter, fun, and team spirit! From our hilarious game of “What’s in the Box?” to showing off our creativity for Mix & Match Day, it was a wonderful way to celebrate the incredible team that makes SJLC such a special place.

Take me out to the ballgame!

Last week staff at St. Joseph Living Center enjoyed a fun-filled baseball-themed celebration complete with freshly popped popcorn, hot dogs, baseball trivia, and the chance to win big with baseball scratch tickets!

At St. Joseph Living Center, caring for our residents goes beyond meeting their daily needs — it’s about creating meaningful connections, moments of joy, and a true sense of community.
Our Pastoral Care and Recreation teams work hard every day to support residents emotionally, socially, and spiritually through chapel services, activities, special events, and one-on-one interactions. But we can always use a few more helping hands!
We are currently looking for volunteers who may be interested in spending time with residents, assisting with activities, or helping residents get to chapel services. Even just an hour or two a week can make a meaningful difference and brighten someone’s day.

We brought the beach to St. Joseph Living Center for Nursing Home Week!

Residents and staff had a wonderful time dressing in their favorite beach attire and enjoying a fun-filled day complete with snow cones, games, laughter, and plenty of summer spirit.

From tropical vibes to friendly competition, Beach Day was a great way to celebrate community, connection, and the joy of making memories together!
