We recently celebrated an exciting milestone at with a wall-breaking ceremony for our new Cardiac Rehabilitation space!

This expansion will more than double the size of our current cardiac rehab space and marks a significant investment in our community’s health and recovery, enabling us to provide even more personalized, high-quality care as patients rebuild strength and confidence following cardiac and pulmonary events.

Thank you to everyone who made this project possible, we can’t wait to open the doors and welcome patients into this incredible new space!

Windham Hospital wrapped up Nurses Week in a truly heartwarming way!

Our incredible nurses were treated to a special visit from adorable puppies courtesy of All Paws on Deck, bringing smiles, laughter, and a well-deserved moment of joy.

We were also honored by the presence of the Connecticut Nurses Honor Guard, whose tribute beautifully recognized the dedication, compassion, and impact of the nursing profession.

To all of our Windham nurses, thank you for everything you do, every single day. Your commitment to caring for others makes a lasting difference in our community.

Community wellness in action!

The 2nd Annual Windham Universal Screening Day was a great success at the Windham Senior and Community Center in Willimantic, bringing neighbors together for a full day focused on health, education, and prevention.

Thanks to our dedicated Hartford HealthCare colleagues and nursing students from Eastern Connecticut State University, community members had access to a wide range of FREE screenings and educational resources, including:
