Did you know an estimated 7.4 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer's or other dementias. Studies show that about 1/3 to 2/3 of dementia family caregivers seek support or outside help for themselves.

Our team at Pelican Pointe cannot say enough wonderful things about our community partners at Dementia Together. Please take a look at their support groups and wonderful things they are doing for all impacted.

Rehab to home stays both break and heal your heart altogether. Our team was beyond excited to celebrate this win with one of our veterans Marvin today. We watched him get stronger everyday so that he could walk out of our front doors holding his wife’s hand!

Happy Mother’s Day to all from Pelican Pointe! We had the opportunity to host Mother’s Day tea with some of our ladies and their families. We are very blessed to be able to care for these amazing women.

If you have ever visited us at Pelican Pointe chances are you have met this wonderful human! For those of you who have not this is Lonnie! Lonnie spear heads any and all things transportation. She makes sure your follow up appointments are in place, buckles you in and sometimes stops for a quick treat while out on appointments. She also takes time to welcome visitors in and always makes sure we have much needed items in our central supply!
