“My mom was from Haiti, I was born in the Bahamas. I was 1 of 6 kids. 3 girls and 3 boys. She instilled a good work ethic and reminded us about reaching our goals. My mom told us kids that success included focusing on a higher education, pursuing what we love and most importantly the connection between our family is the greatest gift one can ask for. My favorite quote from her I always remember is, “You don’t have to chase money, when you do what you love, you’ll always be blessed”. It has never failed me.”
