Graduated today 💕

This sweet family started their journey with me before baby was even born, we met prenatally to map out their breastfeeding goals and create a plan for success. And I’m so glad we did… because their path wasn’t an easy one.

Baby arrived with oral ties and couldn’t latch to the breast. Those early days looked like pumping, bottle feeding, navigating an oversupply, and supporting baby through bodywork to release so much built-up tension.

And then came the turning point—release, healing, learning, practicing… and slowly, beautifully, baby learned how to breastfeed.

Today, this baby is thriving at the breast, growing so well, and mom is heading back to work feeling confident with a solid pumping plan to protect her supply.

This is why I do what I do. It’s not always linear, but with the right support, guidance, and persistence… it can come together.

So incredibly proud of you both 🩷 Beautiful mama, beautiful baby.

There’s something so special about moments like this 🤍
6.3 oz transferred… and he didn’t even wake up. Moved from mom’s arms to the scale, fast asleep, completely content. This is what efficient, comfortable feeding can look like.

It’s been a while since I’ve shown up here. This winter was a hard one—full of loss, grief, and a lot of quiet behind the scenes. We said goodbye to our beloved dog and a dear family member, and it’s taken time to process, to heal, and to just be.

But in the middle of all of that, this work continues to remind me why I do what I do.
Peaceful babies. Confident parents. Moments where everything just clicks.

Today is IBCLC Day, and I’m feeling especially grateful for the work I get to do every single day. ♥️

This sweet little one holds such a special place in my heart. When we first started working together, breastfeeding was challenging and she wasn’t gaining weight as expected. Her mom began supplementing with bottles while we worked to figure out the “why.” Together we uncovered oral ties that were impacting feeding, and after thoughtful support, a release, and continued feeding work… look at her now. Thriving and exclusively breastfeeding. 🎉🎉

Mom’s persistence, dedication, and trust in the process made all the difference. Watching dyads grow in confidence and seeing babies flourish is the greatest privilege. 🥹

Being an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant means walking alongside families through vulnerable moments, problem solving together, celebrating victories big and small, and witnessing the incredible bond between parent and baby.

I truly love what I do and feel so honored that families trust me with such an important part of their journey. Thank you to every family who has invited me into their story. 💛

✨ Client Graduation Day ✨

Today I graduated one of my very precious families, and my heart is full.

This mama first came to me feeling frustrated and discouraged after working with multiple providers—still without clear answers or the support she truly needed. After a thorough assessment, we identified significant oral ties and body tension that were impacting baby’s latch and contributing to symptoms that looked like reflux, but were actually aerophagia (air swallowing).

With the right plan in place—bodywork, a frenotomy, and ongoing, hands-on support—this sweet baby has absolutely thrived. He is now exclusively breastfeeding comfortably and efficiently, reflux symptoms have dramatically improved, and most importantly… he is HAPPY.

Watching parents feel confident, relieved, and overjoyed is one of the greatest privileges of this work. While it’s always a little bittersweet to say goodbye, seeing families leave empowered and thriving is exactly why I do what I do.
