d excellence in service. Our Psychological Rehabilitation programs are designed to recognize the individuality and potential of each resident. The Short-Term Rehabilitation programs at Ahva Care of Winfield combine traditional physical, occupational, and speech therapies with the ability to treat the psychological and emotional needs of each individual. The ability to adapt our programs to the individual resident is what sets us apart. Ahva Care of Winfield is located in DuPage County, only 15 miles from Aurora and 1 mile from Central DuPage Hospital. Situated along the banks of the DuPage River, we provide an ideal setting for residents coping with an acute and/or long-term illness or short-term disability.

We’ve had a wonderful harvest at Ahva Care of Winfield, and our kitchen team turned these beautiful, sun-ripened veggies into a delicious meal for everyone to enjoy. There is nothing quite like the taste of home-grown produce!

It’s so heartwarming to see our community coming together to enjoy the fruits (and veggies!) of our garden’s labor. 🍅🫑✨

It was a "fin-tastic" week at Ahva Care of Winfield! We dove deep into the fun for Shark Week with games, prizes, and plenty of smiles.

It’s Christmas in July at Ahva Care of Winfield! 🎄☀️

We’re turning up the festive fun to help our residents beat the summer heat! We’re celebrating with plenty of games, holiday-themed treats, and all the cheer of the season, without the winter chill.

Our garden at Ahva Care of Winfield is in full bloom and providing such a bountiful harvest! We are so proud of the fresh fruits and vegetables we’ve been picking, and our culinary team has already put them to delicious use, whipping up a fresh, garden-to-table stir-fry over rice for our residents.

We also have some beautiful strawberries ready to go, and we’re already dreaming up the perfect desserts, strawberry shortcake is definitely at the top of our list!

Engaging in gardening and enjoying fresh, nutrient-rich produce offers so many wonderful benefits for our seniors. Gardening is a fantastic way to stay active, reduce stress, and enjoy the outdoors, while fresh, seasonal vegetables provide essential vitamins that support overall health and well-being. There is truly nothing better than enjoying food that you helped grow right here at home!

Our residents and staff enjoyed delicious food, great company, and the beautiful weather. These cookouts are a regular highlight for us, happening every other Friday throughout the summer. It’s a wonderful way to bring everyone together, share laughter, and create lasting memories!
