Winn Community Health Center Our Mission

Since 2009, Winn CHC has been providing affordable access to quality health care for people living in and around Winn Parish. Winn CHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). We are funded in part by the federal Department of Health & Human Services because our area was shown to be an area with unmet medical needs. FQHCs were specifically created to respond to the health care needs of people limited access to care because of their income, their medical condition, or because of the existence of health care professional shortages. We’ve gotten a tremendous response from the community in our first years of operation that has enabled us to expand our medical offerings and grow our staff. From the day we opened our doors, we’ve used the latest health information technology to help deliver a high level of quality care. Our staff uses electronic medical records. We now have a patient portal that enables patients to schedule appointments, get updates from their providers, renew prescriptions and other activities without having to make a trip to the clinic. 🦷 Healthy smiles start with healthy habits!

Today, our dental hygienist Tori visited Learning Tree to spend some time with their little ones and teach them about the importance of good oral hygiene!

From learning how to brush properly to understanding why taking care of our teeth matters, it’s never too early to start building habits that can lead to a lifetime of healthy smiles. 🪥😁

A big thank you to Learning Tree for letting us stop by and share a little dental knowledge with your amazing students!

From primary care and behavioral health to dental, pharmacy, podiatry, chiropractic care, and more, WCHC continues to expand the services available right here in Winnfield. Their new facility on West Court Street is another exciting step forward in providing convenient and quality care for our community.

A first for Stokes-Walker ❤️🤍

If you’re at the game tonight, you may have noticed something new on the field!

For the first time, a local business logo has been painted on the Stokes-Walker Stadium football field, and we couldn’t be more proud that it’s Winn Community Health Center!

For us, this is more than just paint on a football field. We’re proud to support these student-athletes throughout the season and proud to invest in the same community we serve every day!

There’s something pretty special about seeing our name sharing the field with the iconic W under those Friday night lights.

Thank you to Winnfield Senior High School for allowing us to be a part of Tiger football in such a special way!🐅🏈
