Congratulations to Randi Cox on her promotion to Director of Health Information Management at Franklin Medical Center!

Randi has served as Assistant Director of HIM for the past five years and recently stepped into this leadership role after years of dedication to the department and the organization.

“This promotion means more to me than I can fully put into words,” Randi said. “To now step into the role of Director feels like the culmination of years of dedication, sacrifice, and believing in the purpose behind the work we do.”

Randi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics and Information Management, a Master’s Degree in Health Informatics, and her RHIA credential. We are excited to see her continue leading and supporting a department that plays such an important role in patient care.

“HIM touches every corner of the hospital,” Randi shared. “Even though much of our work happens behind the scenes, everything we do is centered on ensuring that each patient’s story is captured correctly and that every department has the reliable information they need to do their jobs.”

“When I first started physical therapy, I was dealing with severe back pain. Even simple daily tasks had become difficult. One of my routines is opening my cat’s food and bending over to fill his bowl, and when I would bend down, it was extremely hard to stand back up again — it felt like my back was going to break.

My physician referred me to physical therapy, where I worked with Logan. He was very thoughtful and mindful of my age, and he knew how to pace me through the exercises in a way that felt manageable and encouraging. I was also experiencing hip pain, so my therapy focused on improving both my back and hip issues.

Everyone on the staff was incredibly kind and made my experience a positive one. Tonya was also wonderful about keeping me reminded of my appointments. I’m very thankful to everyone who helped me on my road to recovery!”

Congratulations on graduating from physical therapy, Mrs. Suzanne! We’re so glad we were able to help get you back to doing the things you love without back or hip pain. Wishing you continued health, strength, and happiness!
