the long tradition of quality care that was begun long ago when Mrs. Ollie Riley brought two elderly people who had no place to go into her home for nursing care, a tradition based upon our belief that what counts most in a nursing facility is resident care. Our interdisciplinary team works together with each resident’s doctor and associated health care professionals to develop a plan of care tailored to meet the specific needs of each resident. This plan of care is implemented by a dedicated, professional staff trained to meet the highest standards of excellence, while being sensitive to the emotional needs of our residents. Our commitment to Improving Quality of Life is not a passing fad or empty slogan. It is found in every facility, in every administrator and in every department. At Plantation Manor, we take our responsibility to be good stewards seriously and put our resources where our priorities are. Here at Plantation Manor, we all have a story to tell. ❤️

Long before our paths brought us together at Plantation Manor, each of us had a story of our own. We were teachers, nurses, farmers, business owners, homemakers, first responders, and so much more. Many of those stories were written right here at home. Our roots run deep throughout Franklin Parish and the surrounding communities we have lived in, served, and called home over the years.

Some of our residents and staff took a moment to share just one small piece of their past with us. Behind every answer is a lifetime of experiences, memories, lessons, and stories worth sharing.

When our Assistant Administrator Mrs. Teresa Guy needed a lesson in the fine art of puzzle gluing, she knew exactly who to turn to: our resident puzzle expert, Mr. James Wiltshire! 🧩😄

With a wall full of completed puzzles to prove his credentials, Mr. James showed Mrs. Teresa the proper way to turn a finished puzzle into a piece of artwork ready for display.

We love moments like these! One-on-one activities give our residents the opportunity to enjoy the hobbies they love, share their talents with others, and even teach our staff a thing or two along the way. ❤️

🎉 Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month, Tony Gallup! 🎉

Please join us in congratulating Tony Gallup, our August Employee of the Month!

Tony serves as our Maintenance Supervisor and was selected by our Resident Council in recognition of his dependability, kindness, and willingness to help whenever he's needed. Residents shared that any time something needs to be repaired, all it takes is one page, and Tony is there right away. They appreciate knowing they can count on him to respond quickly with a smile and a helping hand.

Being chosen by the very residents you serve is a meaningful honor, and it reflects the positive impact Tony has on our facility every day.

Thank you, Tony, for your hard work, dedication, and the care you show to our residents and staff. We are proud to have you as part of the Plantation Manor family, and this recognition is truly well deserved!

🍹✨ No tattoo appointments or designated drivers required! ✨🍹

This morning, our residents enjoyed a little "Inks & Drinks" fun at Plantation Manor! We mixed up colorful mocktails and passed out plenty of temporary tattoos so everyone could show off a little extra personality for the day.

From sipping fruity drinks to picking out the perfect design, there were lots of smiles, laughter, and conversations about whose "ink" looked the coolest. It was the perfect way to shake up the morning with something a little different!

Your snackle boxes are officially on their way! Our team was blessed to pack these boxes full of treats to help keep you fueled for the road as you head to Florida to compete in the 2026 Dixie World Series.

We are proud to support these talented young ladies as they represent Winnsboro and our community in the big leagues. We hope you enjoy every snack along the journey and know that your hometown is cheering you on every mile of the way!
