Returning to work or school while breastfeeding shouldn’t feel like something you have to figure out alone.

You’re still learning your baby’s rhythms…
and suddenly the outside world expects you to move at full speed again.

For breastfeeding mothers, that transition can bring a lot of questions.

How often should I pump?
How much milk should I store?
What are my workplace or campus rights?

That’s why I’m launching Making It Work, a 4-part support series designed to help mothers confidently navigate breastfeeding while returning to work, school, or other responsibilities outside the home.

Together we’ll cover:

• workplace and campus pumping rights
• creating a realistic pumping rhythm
• milk storage and planning
• navigating the emotional transition of returning to work or school

Whether you're preparing to return soon or already figuring it out day by day — this space is for you.

This series is offered in partnership with the Forsyth County Department of Public Health and is free and open to the community.

More details coming, and registration opens soon!

Dear Wellingtons,

Motherhood has been one of my greatest teachers.

There’s a concept called glass balls and rubber balls.

Some things in life will bounce back if they fall.
Emails. Deadlines. Dishes in the sink.

But some things are glass.

The way our children experience us.
The safety and warmth of home.
The small moments that shape their memories.

Those things deserve our attention.

This morning looked like smoothie making and sleepy eyes at the kitchen counter.

Nothing fancy. Just presence.

And sometimes that’s the most sacred work of all.
