Today was our summer intern, Samantha Cisney, last day. She is entering her second year of grad school at UNC Charlotte pursing her masters in healthcare administration. While with us, she worked on various projects like PASRRs, grievances, FL2s, and attending care plan meetings to see how the IDT works together for complete overall operations of the facility. We wish her the best of luck with her last year and future endeavors!

This month, our residents enjoyed a fun Happy Hour at Mill Creek, complete with delicious cocktails, great conversations, and plenty of laughter. It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, socialize, and create more special memories together.

This month, our community enjoyed a fun Vendor Day filled with amazing local businesses, featuring everything from refreshing lemonade and essential oils to many other wonderful products to explore.

To make the day even sweeter, our residents had the chance to decorate cookies and express their creativity while spending time together. We love creating opportunities that bring joy, connection, and smiles to our community. Thank you to all of our vendors and everyone who helped make this event so special!

This month, we had the pleasure of hosting a Smoothie & Art Social at Mill Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

It was a beautiful opportunity to bring everyone together through creativity, laughter, great conversations, and delicious smoothies. We are so grateful for every smile, every piece of artwork, and every shared moment that made this event so special. Thank you to everyone who helped create such wonderful memories!

At Mill Creek, we are proud to recognize Caleb Payment as our June Employee of the Month!

As our Transportation Driver, Caleb consistently goes above and beyond his job responsibilities. In addition to safely transporting residents to and from appointments, he has stepped up to assist with painting projects, restocking resident supplies, and serving as a strong advocate for our residents.

Although Caleb has only been with us for a few months, he has quickly become an invaluable member of the Mill Creek team. After recently relocating to North Carolina, he seamlessly learned the Winston-Salem area and has ensured our residents arrive safely and on time to every appointment.

Caleb's dedication, willingness to help wherever needed, and commitment to our residents truly embody what it means to be part of the Mill Creek family. We are incredibly grateful to have him on our team. Congratulations, Caleb, and thank you for all that you do! 👏💙
