🐾💙 Exciting News—Pet Therapy is Coming to Grand Villa! 💙🐾

We are thrilled to welcome Katie and her wonderful therapy dog, Jack, to our Grand Villa family! 🐶❤️

Beginning July 5, Katie and Jack will visit our residents on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 1:00 PM, bringing wagging tails, warm cuddles, and plenty of smiles.

Pet therapy offers so many wonderful benefits, including reducing stress, encouraging conversation, lifting spirits, and creating meaningful moments of connection. We can’t wait for our residents to experience the comfort, companionship, and unconditional love that Jack is sure to bring.

Please join us in giving Katie and Jack a warm Grand Villa welcome—we’re so excited for this new adventure! 🐾💕

Today, our Assisted Living residents came together for a joyful Juneteenth Block Party filled with music, laughter, fellowship, and celebration! 🎉

Juneteenth is a day of remembrance, reflection, and recognition of the enduring strength, resilience, and contributions of African Americans throughout history. It is a time to honor freedom, celebrate culture, and appreciate the progress made while looking forward with hope and unity.

Residents enjoyed an afternoon of great food, wonderful conversation, festive activities, and music that had everyone smiling and tapping their feet. Most importantly, we shared meaningful moments together as a community, celebrating the values of freedom, respect, and togetherness that bring us all closer.

We are grateful for the opportunity to honor this important day and the stories, traditions, and history that continue to inspire us.

Today was all about friendly competition, laughter, and keeping our minds active with Bingo and Trivia! Residents enjoyed testing their knowledge, cheering each other on, and celebrating a few lucky wins along the way.

From great guesses to exciting Bingo calls, the room was filled with smiles, fun, and wonderful fellowship. Days like these remind us that learning, laughing, and connecting with friends never go out of style!

🍞❤️ Breaking Bread, Sharing Memories ❤️🍞

There’s something truly special about the smell of fresh bread baking. Today, our Assisted Living residents gathered for a delightful Bread Making Activity, where our bread machines worked their magic and filled the halls with the warm, comforting aroma of homemade bread.

As the loaves baked, residents couldn’t help but be drawn together by the smell, leading to an impromptu bread tasting and fellowship time. Between bites of warm bread, conversations flowed freely as we reflected on the meaning of the Bread of Life and shared treasured memories of growing up watching our mothers and grandmothers knead dough, bake loaves, and fill their homes with love.

The simple act of making bread became so much more than a cooking activity—it became a journey through faith, family traditions, and cherished memories. Moments like these remind us that some of life’s sweetest connections are made around the table.

A huge shoutout to our amazing Helpful Helpers who rolled up their sleeves and helped us put together our brand-new chairs for the Activities Room today! 💪😊

Not only did they help assemble furniture, but they also helped create a more welcoming and comfortable space where friends can gather, laugh, learn, and make memories together. Their teamwork, positive attitudes, and willingness to lend a hand truly embody the spirit of our Grand Villa family.

We love finding opportunities for residents to share their talents, stay active, and make a meaningful contribution to our community. And let’s be honest—everything is more fun when you do it together! ❤️

What better way to celebrate than with a surprise baby shower for our incredible Maintenance Director, Trey! 🎉

Today, the Grand Villa family gathered together with lots of pink, sweet treats, gifts, laughter, and love to celebrate the newest little princess joining Trey’s family. 🩷✨

Trey works hard every day helping keep our community running smoothly, so we were thrilled to take a moment to shower him and his growing family with well wishes as they prepare to welcome their beautiful baby girl. 👶🌸

From pink decorations to heartfelt congratulations, it was a joyful celebration filled with smiles and excitement for the adventures ahead. We can’t wait to meet the newest member of the Grand Villa extended family!
