Today we’re holding space for the legacy of Dolly Parton, whose imagination, kindness, and generosity have touched generations of children and families. 🤍
Our “Dolly” Room is more than just a playroom. It’s a space where creativity is encouraged, stories come to life, and children are reminded that their voices and ideas matter.
Dolly’s Imagination Library was inspired in part by her father, who was unable to read or write. Wanting to honor him and help children experience the joy and opportunity that books can bring, she launched the program in 1995 in her home county in East Tennessee. What began as a local effort has since grown into a global initiative, putting free books into the hands of millions of children and nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of reading.
That same spirit lives on in the work we do every day with the children and families we serve.
Thank you, Dolly Parton, for showing us the power of imagination, compassion, and giving back. ✨ we will always love you 🩷
