It’s just a jar but it is also an opportunity to love and serve my community. Yesterday I delivered about 10 jars all around to different people who had ordered elderberry syrup. One family is fighting Covid and I am about to take this jar to another family who has lost loved ones and still fighting Covid. To my friends who are struggling please know you have a kind and gracious Heavenly Father who hates this disease more than you do because it is the product of the Fall and He did not create this world with sin, sickness, and death in it. He gets it. You are wrapped in His arms like a shepherd holds the youngest and most vulnerable lamb. You are loved, you are kept by Him and He sent His Son to right all the wrongs. Loved what one of my pastors said this morning when he prayed that God would fling this virus into the middle of one of these tropical storms in the middle of the sea and eradicate it from the planet. Even so come Lord Jesus!

They’re ready! Elderberry jellies! They’re not going to be marketed as gummies because they don’t have the granulated consistency of a jelly bean or gummy bear or even a gummy vitamin. I don’t use any preservative other than a little lemon juice so it is just the honey, clove, cinnamon, and ginger. However these jellies are milder and sweeter than the elderberry syrup since most of my customers will be kids I expect. I only have a few jars of them though. They’re very labor intensive so this is just a trial run. They come in half pint jars and are $20/jar. First come, first served. Text, message or comment below if interested!

I only have 4 jars of elderberry syrup left for the batch I made to stock up my regulars before I leave for the summer! If anyone needs any please let me know. I want to keep my friends healthy so they can enjoy the summer to it’s fullest! Y’all know I will be!

There’s only a month left of school and that means “Aunt Nettie” is getting ready to travel the country again for the summer and the shop will be closing up until August! Now is the perfect time to stock up on organic elderberry syrup! I am keeping up with orders like a champ so send them my way. And if you live in parts unknown I may see you this summer!
