At MatWorkz Pilates Studio, movement is more than exercise—it’s an ongoing practice of awareness, education, and inquiry.
As part of our second quarter educational series, we’ll be exploring simple yet powerful concepts that support the body and nervous system in everyday life.
In May, we’ll explore the power of humming and how vibration, breath, and sound can help regulate the nervous system and create a greater sense of calm and presence.
In June, we’ll look at Belly Time: The Floor as Feedback—an accessible way to reconnect with the spine, breath, and body through grounding and gentle spinal reset.
In July, we’ll explore Movement Through Inquiry: Teaching with the Socratic Method and how thoughtful questioning can deepen awareness, improve movement understanding, and influence the way we teach and learn.
