taught me it’s not just the size it’s also the shape. Toss the flanges that came in the box and reach out to an IBCLC like me that’s been trained to fit you not just by size but by shape! It matters! Were you fitted by size and shape?

Aside from education and confidence the things i ultimo think you need and are worth it are to take the load off everywhere else. That means you not having to worry about, cleaning, cooking or laundry. Giving you the time to truly make the most of your postpartum. I hear a lot of “I just don’t have the time to just sit and feed my baby” or “ I feel like I didn’t do anything today” these are valid emotions but darling you are growing a human the same way you did while pregnant. It’s ok to take the load off and just do that. I hat something you think is worth it?

If today is the day it starts speak up and ask for what you need, want and deserve in ALL aspects of your life. You are a WHOLE person who is deserving. They are watching us. Let’s show them that we don’t loose ourselves when we become mothers. ❤️

Part 1 of How I Batch Cook for the Week: I always start with a meal plan. I like to ask my family for suggestions because figuring out what’s for dinner is exhausting. And if they suggest it, they will eat it usually without complaint. I’ve learned to plan based on what I have on hand. I don’t physically grocery shop and cook on the same day. I will order from Instacart and then cook but I’m not doing the shopping and cooking on the same day. I said what I said. It’s just too much. And yes I’m lining my pans with foil and parchment paper because it makes cleaning up so much easier. Stay tuned for part 2
