Watercrest Winter Park spent a day surrounded by Tiffany brilliance! 💎

Our residents visited the Morse Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany, to take in the stained glass, intricate decorative pieces, and unmistakable craftsmanship that made his work so iconic.

There was so much to stop and admire, from the color and detail in the glasswork to the sheer scale of the collection!

Quite a beautiful outing for anyone who appreciates art that rewards a closer look.

Prost! Oktoberfest is making its way to Watercrest Winter Park. 🥨🍺

One of our favorite celebrations of the year is back, and we’re bringing a little Bavaria to Winter Park with festive flavors, Oktoberfest traditions, and many reasons to raise a glass.

St. Augustine gave us quite a story to tell! 🚐☀️

Watercrest Winter Park packed a lot into our day in St. Augustine, beginning with a private golf cart tour led by Robert, a former CNN journalist whose knowledge impressed even those in our group who know the city well. He took us through St. Augustine’s early history and its role in the Civil Rights Movement, while the outing held some personal history for us, too. Jim was excited to return to the city where his mother was born, and when we passed the Great Cross at the Nombre de Dios Mission, Debra recalled attending its dedication in 1965.

After lunch, we headed to the St. Augustine Lighthouse, which some recognized from the lighthouse-shaped wine bottle we picked up at Lakeridge Winery a few months ago. Lori took the connection one step further and climbed all the way to the top, about 14 flights of stairs, and back down.

And because every road trip needs snacks, we made one final stop at Buc-ee’s, where some were returning fans and others got their first look at the famously enormous establishment. Quite a way to finish a day on the road! 😊

Memory Care lunch went a little off-script... in the best way! 🍩🌭

We headed out to try mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs, trading the usual favorites for something completely new. There were unfamiliar flavors, but sometimes, the best thing on the menu is what you’ve never had before!

Our "Equali-Tea" at Watercrest Winter Park took on an especially meaningful note this year! 🫖🩷

As we marked the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, we dedicated our gathering to the late Dolly Parton, a trailblazer, national treasure, and woman whose influence reached far beyond the stage. Residents celebrated her life and legacy over tea and banana pudding, one of Dolly’s favorite desserts.

Following her recent passing, it felt especially fitting to raise a teacup to a woman who left an unmistakable mark on generations.
