“Snoring in children is not considered normal, but it doesn’t always mean something is wrong or requires treatment. We become concerned when snoring is accompanied by signs of breathing obstruction during sleep, poor-quality sleep, behavioral changes such as hyperactivity or impulsiveness, or daytime fatigue.”

Had to pop to West Palm to do bronchoscopies this morning. Worked with a great team. I usually take but they seem to have stopped the 4.25am train. That means I have to drive down if I want to do 7.30am procedures. I guess I have to start my procedures at 8.30am so I can keep taking the train.

In the past week since the cold snap, we have had quite a few new referrals for asthma evaluations and management. It is important to follow the plans set by your pcp’s. A lot of exacerbations would’ve avoided if patients had been following their standard asthma management plans.
