North Runnels Hospital District is located in Winters Texas and was founded in December 1972. North Runnels Hospital District is a fully accredited 12 bed critical access hospital serving all of Runnels County and the surrounding areas. North Runnels Hospital District offers a 3 bed full service Emergency Department which is in pursuit of Level IV Trauma Designation, along with a variety of Inpatient and Outpatient services. Some of the services offered are: Ultra Sound, CT, Lab, X-Ray, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Wound Care Services, Medicare Swing Bed Program, EMS, and Home Health. North Runnels Hospital District is comprised of the Hospital, Rural Health Clinic, Home Health, NRH EMS and Winters Health Care & Rehabilitation nursing center, we have a highly qualified, dedicated, caring team of providers and health care professionals that are always here and willing to help to meet the needs of all patients. Meet Kasandra Garcia Quiroga, our Pharmacy Manager at North Runnels Hospital District!

Kasandra is a Certified and Registered Pharmacy Technician with 17 years of experience in retail, hospital, and Air Force clinical pharmacy settings. Since December 2019, she has led operations at NRH Pharmacy, helping ensure patients receive safe, accurate, and high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Outside of work, Kasandra enjoys spending time with her husband, Martin, their seven children, and their grandchild. You can often find her cheering on her kids at sporting events, reading on her Kindle, or spending time with their animals.

North Runnels Hospital District is donating a free wellness exam with lab work to an upcoming Facebook auction benefiting Winters CDC.

The auction will go live on Facebook on October 12 and will close October 17 at 12:00 noon. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Winters CDC and the work they do in our community.
