🤰Hey mamas and birth workers! 🧑🏼🍼
In the last couple of weeks we have had ✨✨✨6 sweet babies✨✨✨join our practice and 6 Mamas raving about their natural intervention free birth experiences!
I have been supporting pregnant mamas for over a decade now and I’m still thrilled to hear how much shorter their birth and push times were with Chiropractic care versus without from previous births!
Every year it seems God imparts new wisdom, on both me and Dr. Candace, to support these moms and to keep improving birth outcomes and I am beyond grateful!

Now…Let’s talk about a major roadblock in labor that doesn't get enough attention:
Pelvic Dystocia..⚖️
What exactly is it?
Pelvic dystocia happens when the bones of the pelvis are misaligned or restricted. Think of the pelvis as the doorway your baby has to pass through. If the frame of that doorway is twisted or tilted, the opening becomes narrower, and the soft tissues (like ligaments and muscles) get tight and uneven.🚪
Where the delay and trauma happen:
When the pelvis is misaligned, the baby can’t find the right angle to drop down or rotate into the optimal birth position.
This often leads to:
• Prolonged labor and stalled dilation because the baby's head isn't pressing evenly on the cervix.
• Exhausting, extended pushing stages because you are fighting against structural resistance.
• Increased physical trauma to both mom and baby, frequently resulting in emergency interventions like forceps, vacuum extraction, or unplanned C-sections.
How Chiropractic care changes the story:
Specific, gentle prenatal chiropractic adjustments (like the Webster Technique) focus on restoring balance to the pelvis and surrounding ligaments.
By aligning the pelvis, chiropractic care:
✨ Creates maximum room for the baby to get into the best possible position.
✨ Decreases total labor and delivery times by removing structural roadblocks.
✨ Shortens pushing phases because the baby has a clear, uninhibited path.
✨ Improves overall birth outcomes, significantly reducing physical distress and trauma for both you and your newborn.
Your body was designed to give birth, and keeping your pelvis aligned ensures the doorway is wide open for a smoother, safer delivery.
