A frequent question I get during intake calls is whether or not the caregiver is “supposed to” be in the therapy room with their child or wait in the waiting room.

There are no specific rules or expectations around this at BG Speech Therapy! Every child and family are different, and what works for one, may not work for others. We can make recommendations after getting to know your child and seeing what works best for them and your family!

No matter what your preference is, at BG Speech Therapy, caregiver education and carryover are important, so we will work to find the best way to ensure you feel informed, empowered, and supported!
