Meet Katie Staley, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Katie holds a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Post-Master's Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern CT State University. Before stepping into clinical work, she spent six years as a certified K-12 school counselor and 504 case manager, advocating for students and families navigating educational systems, disabilities, and diverse learning needs. That background in advocacy, trauma-informed practice, and culturally responsive care shapes how she shows up for every client she works with.

Katie works with women, girls, and clients of all ages and backgrounds dealing with anxiety, ADHD, mood and depressive disorders, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, adjustment disorders, and non-suicidal self-injury. She is passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and women from all walks of life, and brings extensive training in crisis counseling and risk assessment to her practice. TMW Health was proud to participate in the Connecticut DECD Small Business Roundtable, hosted by the CT Small Business Development Center at Southern Connecticut State University’s School of Business.

The roundtable brought together small business owners from across Connecticut to discuss the real challenges businesses are facing and state resources available to support growth.

Thank you to Sheila Hummel, Dorian Zwierewicz, and Scott W. Arnold for bringing small business voices into the room and a very special thank you to Denise Whitford, who has worked alongside TMW since day one!!
