With the official start of summer just a few days away (but who's counting?), we're excited to welcome back the Summer Self-Love Club!

Summer has a way of filling our calendars fast...vacations, cookouts, sports, camps, yard work, family gatherings, and everything in between. Before we know it, we're so busy making memories that we forget to take care of ourselves along the way.

So here's your friendly reminder: don't forget about you this summer.

"But what exactly is self-love?"

Self-love can look like:
Taking a quiet walk by yourself
Reading a book just because you enjoy it
Drinking your coffee while it's still hot
Going for a bike ride
Taking a nap without feeling guilty
Listening to your favorite music
Sitting in the sun for a few minutes
Staying hydrated
Saying "no" when your plate is already full
Spending time with people who fill your cup

The funny thing is, many of us already do things that count as self-love, we just don't recognize them as such. Being mindful of these moments and giving ourselves credit for them is just as important as doing them.

So tell us: What are your favorite summer self-love activities?

Share them in the comments! Your idea might be exactly what someone else needs to add to their own Summer Self-Love list.

New England weather keeps us guessing...warm sunshine one day, winter coats the next (unless your me and you've hung the coat up for good)

It’s no surprise our moods can feel just as unpredictable. That “spring fever” feeling? It’s real and it can show up as restlessness, low motivation, or a need for change.

As the seasons shift (with trickery), try to check in with what your mind and body need most. A little flexibility and self-compassion can go a long way!

The holidays can hold so many things at once.
Joy and grief. Magic and exhaustion. Full hearts and heavy ones, too.

This season, I see the ones for whom the holidays aren’t always joyful, those navigating loss, change, or the quiet weight of missing what once was. I see those working hard in their sobriety, moving through a season where gatherings, traditions, and expectations can make that commitment feel even heavier.

I see those who are far from family, carrying love and longing across miles, missing familiar faces and traditions.

I see the moms and dads out shopping late, stretching budgets, wrapping gifts after bedtime, doing their very best to create magic while feeling the financial pressure that often comes with this season...and still showing up with so much love.

I see the moms who step away for a moment of self-care, feeling the tug of guilt even while knowing they need that pause to keep going.
And I see the dads who hold down the fort, making space for that rest, understanding how much it matters.

I see the grandparents watching their own children recreate traditions they once lovingly built, learning how to step back while still leaning in, finding new ways to be part of the magic.

The holidays aren’t just one thing. They’re many things, happening all at once.
And if you’re feeling all of it, you’re not alone. You’re seen.

This season, I hope you feel recognized for the love, effort, and quiet strength you bring, even in the moments no one else notices.
