Meet Sentara ICU Nurse Boryana Peeva — a true inspiration on and off the hospital floor! Not only does she provide compassionate care every day, but she accomplished an amazing feat: climbing to Mt. Everest Base Camp! Even more touching, she fulfilled a special wish for a family she cared for just before leaving on her adventure.

If you are able, consider supporting this Food Drive on Saturday, June 13 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Harris Pavilion in Manassas as our community comes together to fight food insecurity in Prince William County!

Bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to help stock local food pantries serving families in need. In addition to supporting a great cause, the event will feature music, bubbles, face painting, and even a chance to dunk local elected officials and school principals.

More than 2 out of 5 Prince William County residents experience food insecurity, and many families do not qualify for assistance programs. Every donation can make a real difference for our neighbors. ❤️

This community effort is proudly supported by local nonprofit organizations including ACTS, Haymarket Regional Food Pantry, Northern Virginia Food Rescue, CFH, and the Prince William County Community Foundation.

Parkway Church Food Pantry operates as a direct distribution center in Woodbridge, Va. for those in the community who are facing food insecurity. The pantry provides nutritious food to individuals and families in need.

Parkway Church Food Pantry has served over 640 families and more than 2000+ individuals since January 2025 at its monthly food distribution events.

Whether responding to emergencies, providing lifesaving care, or offering comfort during difficult moments, EMS teams are there when we need them most. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to keeping our community safe and healthy.

We were happy to welcome some of our local EMS team members for a picnic at the hospital last Friday...it's one very small way we can say "thank you!"

Skilled members of our Emergency Department took time to teach the well-regarded course, "Stop the Bleed," for our friends from Leadership Prince William who were on our campus yesterday.

Created by the American College of Surgeons, Stop the Bleed courses train the public to save lives through three basic actions to stop life-threatening bleeding following everyday emergencies and man-made and natural disasters.

Our ED team deals with trauma on a daily basis, and they know from firsthand experience that quick intervention is important when someone has a serious bleed. Taking a course like Stop the Bleed can give you the skills to save a life.
