Our new Sentara To Home outpatient pharmacy helps make the journey from hospital to home a little easier. Patients can have their prescriptions filled before leaving the hospital, helping improve access to needed medications and supporting a smoother transition to recovery. 💊🏠

Our friends at CORE Personal Training & Pilates, Inc. are once again bringing our community together for its Annual Cancer Fundraiser, which supports the cancer fund at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center.

Join C.O.R.E. this Saturday, Oct. 17, from 8:15 a.m.–12:30 p.m. for a morning of fitness and wellness. Choose three classes for $45, plus enjoy raffle prizes, refreshments and more!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Manassas! 💜

We were proud to see so many Sentara team members, family members, and community supporters come together last Saturday to raise awareness and take meaningful steps toward a future without Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

A special thank you to everyone who donated, walked, volunteered, and cheered on participants. Your support helps advance research, strengthen care and support programs, and bring hope to countless individuals and families affected by this disease.

Colorectal cancer is on the rise in adults under 50, and younger patients are often diagnosed at later stages because symptoms can go unnoticed. Screening brings peace of mind. 💙🎗️

That's why the Sentara Cancer Network Resource Center will be distributing FREE colorectal cancer screening kits at the Farmers Market in Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center's main parking lot on Thursday, October 15, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Why is screening so important?

After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis despite having no symptoms, no family history, and feeling perfectly healthy, Andrea is sharing her story during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to remind others that early detection can save lives

A routine screening mammogram detected her cancer early, giving her the opportunity to receive treatment and move forward with life, family, and the work she loves. “If this can happen to me, it can happen to anybody.” ❤️
