Today was a very special day at The Willows ❤️🇺🇸

Jeannette E. is currently a short term rehab patient at The Willows and just celebrated her 104th birthday!

Today, she invited her family, friends, and our staff to witness a soldier being promoted, her great granddaughter Sargent A. Donofrio of The United States Army. Sargent Donofrio was given the great honor of receiving a pin for her new rank, given by her Great Grandma, Jeannette. Seeing generations come together in this moment of pride, service, and love was something we will never forget.

The smile on Jeannette’s face says it all. She has witnessed so much throughout her life, and being able to share in this milestone made the occasion even more meaningful. The moment she looked at her great granddaughter and said "I am so proud of you" had everyone in tears!

Congratulations on your promotion Sargent Donofrio! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving our country has not gone unnoticed!

Thank you for letting The Willows share this special moment ❤️

National Nursing Home Week, Day 4. We're "blooming"!

Today, staff were treated to a delicious baked potato food truck to celebrate our 5 star CMS rating!!
All staff also received a gift from Autumn Lake to thank them for all of their hard work and commitment!

Yesterday, residents got the chance to participate in a magic show! Today, they made beautiful flower arrangements!

National Nursing Home Week continues with our “Sunflower Strong” theme 🌻

Yesterday, staff enjoyed refreshing dirty sodas while residents had a wonderful time painting flowers! Today, we’re treating our staff to sunflower seed snacks as the celebration continues. 💛🌞

Happy National Nursing Home Week!!

The Willows started off this fun filled week with "blooming moments". Our residents enjoyed a fun day of making their very own tie dye shirts!

Today is "bee kind" day. Staff enjoyed tea with honey and delicious cookies!

Today, April 14th, is National Gardening Day! Today, the residents of The Willows decorated their own planters!
Our beautiful trees outside of The Willows are also in full bloom!

Congratulations to team Willows for winning 1st place in the holiday decorating contest!!
As a reward, staff were treated to delicious hamburgers, hot dogs and fries from Frankie's food truck! Great job team!
