Your gallbladder does SO much more than just "store bile." 👀

It plays a key role in breaking down fats, absorbing vitamins A, D, E, & K, supporting healthy hormone production, and keeping digestion running smoothly.

If you've been told you have gallstones, sludge, or even that your gallbladder needs to be removed, don't just ask "How do I get rid of it?"

Ask:
✨ Why did my gallbladder become stressed in the first place?

At our office, we don't just chase symptoms—we look for the underlying stressors that may be affecting your digestion and overall health.

If you're dealing with:
✔️ Pain after eating fatty foods
✔️ Bloating
✔️ Nausea
✔️ Gallstones
✔️ Or you've had your gallbladder removed and still don't feel your best...

💬 Comment TESTING below, and we'll reach out to schedule a FREE 10-minute discovery call to discuss options and guide you on your next steps to find out what's going on.

Feeling exhausted all the time? 😴

If you're relying on caffeine just to get through the day, your body may be trying to tell you something.

Here are 5 common reasons fatigue can happen:

⚡ Thyroid dysfunction
🩸 Blood sugar dysregulation
🥩 Iron & nutrient deficiencies
🔥 Chronic inflammation
😴 Poor sleep and chronic stress

While these are common contributors, they're not the only possibilities. The key is figuring out why you're tired instead of just masking the symptoms.

What if your immune system isn’t broken? What if it’s responding to something?

One of the biggest misconceptions about Crohn’s disease is that your immune system has simply “gone rogue” and started attacking your body for no reason.

But here’s a different way to think about it...

Your immune system’s job is to protect you. Every single day it’s scanning for things that could threaten your health: viruses, bacteria, toxins, damaged cells, and other stressors. When it detects something concerning, it creates inflammation as part of its defense.

Inflammation isn’t the enemy. It’s a tool your body uses to communicate that something needs attention.

The question we ask at The Wellness Way is:
✨What is your immune system responding to?

For some people with Crohn’s disease, there may be additional factors contributing to ongoing immune activation, such as:

✔️ Food allergies
✔️ Imbalances in the gut microbiome
✔️ Bacterial, yeast, or parasitic overgrowth
✔️ Chronic stress and elevated stress hormones
✔️ Nutrient deficiencies that affect gut repair and immune function
✔️ Environmental stressors, including mold or heavy metal exposure when clinically appropriate

Not every person with Crohn’s will have the same contributing factors. That’s why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

If you’re tired of feeling like your only option is to manage symptoms and you’re looking for a different perspective, we’d love to help you explore what’s happening beneath the surface.

If you have Crohn’s disease, don’t settle for guessing when you can start gathering answers.

One of the biggest mistakes we see is assuming that everyone with Crohn’s has the same underlying contributors to their inflammation. The reality is that two people can have the same diagnosis and completely different health histories, lifestyles, environmental exposures, and immune responses.

That’s why we believe testing should guide your care, not assumptions.

Here are 5 areas we commonly investigate when someone with Crohn’s is looking for a deeper understanding of their health:

🥗 Food allergies – Certain foods may contribute to immune activation in some individuals. Identifying these reactions can help you make more informed nutrition choices instead of following restrictive diets based on trial and error.

💩 Comprehensive Stool Testing – Your gut microbiome plays a major role in digestion and immune function. Stool testing can provide insight into beneficial bacteria, digestive function, inflammation markers, yeast, parasites, bacteria, and other factors that may be affecting gut health.

🩸 Inflammation & Nutrient Status – Chronic digestive inflammation can make it harder to absorb essential nutrients. Looking at key nutrient levels and inflammation markers can help identify areas that may need support.

⚖️ Hormones & Stress Response – Your gut and your stress response are closely connected. Chronic stress and hormone imbalances can influence digestion, immune function, and overall health, making them an important piece of the bigger picture.

🌿 Environmental Stressors – Depending on your health history, factors like mold exposure or heavy metals may be worth evaluating. These aren’t concerns for everyone, but they can be relevant in certain situations.

A Crohn’s diagnosis tells you what is happening—it doesn’t always explain everything that may be contributing to how you’re feeling.

Crohn’s disease doesn’t happen overnight… so why do we expect the solution to be overnight?

For many people, the diagnosis feels like it came out of nowhere.

One day you’re dealing with fatigue, stomach pain, diarrhea, bloating, or digestive issues and then you’re told you have Crohn’s disease.

But your body has a story.

Before symptoms showed up, there may have been years of stress, gut imbalance, nutrient deficiencies, food reactions, infections, environmental stressors, or other factors putting pressure on your body.

At The Wellness Way, we believe the diagnosis tells us what is happening, but we also need to understand why your body may be struggling.

Instead of only asking, “How do we manage symptoms?” we ask:

“What is your body responding to?”

Your symptoms are not your body failing you. They are signals that something needs attention.

That’s why we believe in testing instead of guessing. By looking at your gut health, immune function, and potential triggers, we can better understand your unique story and create a more personalized plan.
