When your child has been really active all day, their muscles are really warm. Then when they get home at night and sleep in the AC, the muscles cool rapidly and can tighten up, creating something called Torticollis. Some of the bones in their neck get pulled out of alignment and, in response, your child will tilt their head to the side and it will feel “stuck” in that position. It is also painful for them to move their head around.

Gentle adjustments and muscle work are very effective ways to help your child feel better and get their muscles to relax back to normal.
