Mid-back stiffness isn’t just annoying. It changes how you move.

If sitting at a desk, commuting, long workouts or you name it, leaves turning your body feeling restricted, your mid-back may not be moving as well as it could.

“The Book Opener” is a simple mobility exercise designed to encourage comfortable rotation through your mid-back. It’s perfect after a long day at work, before the gym or anytime you’ve been sitting for a while.

Try 5–10 slow reps per side, then notice how turning your head and shoulders feels.

Save this for the next time your body feels stiff, not just sore.
Option ✌🏼: Try this while sitting in a chair at your desk.

Your brain doesn’t wait for pain before it starts paying attention.

It’s constantly using information from your body to help you move, stay balanced and adapt to life.

That’s why I don’t just ask, “Where does it hurt?”

I’m interested in how your nervous system is functioning as a whole.

Ever wonder why one person notices a change right away while another experiences something completely different?

It’s because every body and every nervous system has its own story.

Your body was designed to move.

Movement keeps your spine healthy.

Healthy spinal motion helps nourish your discs, maintain flexible joints and supports the electrical and chemical communication system between your brain and body.

When movement becomes limited, you may notice:
    •    Back pain
    •    Neck pain
    •    Headaches
    •    Stiffness
    •    Reduced mobility

My goal isn’t just to help you feel better today. It’s to help you keep moving for years to come.

The funny thing is, when your brain has a clearer picture of what’s going on, your body often takes it from there.

Hot take: Chiropractic isn’t about chasing symptoms.

It’s about helping your brain receive better information from your body.

When your brain has better information, it can make better decisions about how your body functions.

I believe that’s why people often tell me they don’t just hurt less but they are sleeping better, moving better, have more energy or just simply feel more like themselves.

That’s the connection most people never hear about.

We all know we should take better care of ourselves… but life has a way of filling every spare minute.

The good news? Self-care doesn’t have to mean an hour at the gym or a weekend wellness retreat. Sometimes it’s as simple as taking 60 seconds to move your body a little differently.

Small habits - done consistently - can help you:
✔️ Move with less stiffness
✔️ Feel better throughout the day
✔️ Reduce tension before it becomes a bigger problem
✔️ Invest in your future health

Your body works hard for you every single day. Give it a minute or two in return.

Try this stretch, take a few deep breaths and see how your upper back feels afterward.

Ever catch yourself constantly rubbing the side of your neck or the spot just behind your ear? That’s your body trying to tell you something.

This stretch is one of my favorites because it’s simple and can make a noticeable difference in just a couple of minutes.

Keep in mind, stretching treats the tight muscle, not necessarily the reason it became tight in the first place. If the tension keeps coming back, it’s worth figuring out why.

Try it, save it for later and send it to someone who’s always saying, “My neck is killing me.” They might owe you one.
