Our team showed up in full force at The Adolescent & Young Adult Collective , made meaningful connections, and represented Thrive Treatment with pride. We’re incredibly grateful to be recognized as a trusted provider for adolescents, young adults, and families throughout Southern California.

A special congratulations to Kristine Jackson, LMFT, who absolutely crushed her speaker session and delivered an impactful presentation.

Thank you to everyone who spent time with us this week. We’re excited for what’s ahead and proud of the team that continues to make Thrive Treatment what it is. 🌱

Some highlights from 🤍

Our team had such a great time connecting with colleagues, learning from others in the field, and spending time with some amazing people in the recovery community. We are already looking forward to the next one!

In the meantime, we’ll be at this week, so come find us and say hi 👋

One of the things that makes Thrive so special is the people who work here. The level of compassion, understanding, and hope they offer cannot be taught in a textbook. Our staff is able to remind clients that they are not alone and show them that meaningful change is possible.

A little glimpse into yoga at Thrive with our amazing instructor, Nikka 🧘🤍

One of the best things about Nikka’s classes is that everyone is welcome, whether you have years of yoga experience or have never stepped on a mat before. She creates such a safe, grounding, and supportive environment for our clients to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and simply breathe.

Recovery is not just about healing the mind, it is about caring for the body and nervous system too ✨

It is completely normal to not want to be in treatment. Taking time away from your everyday life to focus on yourself and your healing can feel scary, overwhelming, and uncomfortable. A lot of people worry that life will move on without them while they are gone.

But the truth is, the world will still be there when you are healthy and ready to return. Your job, your relationships, your responsibilities, and your future are not disappearing. Right now, the focus is learning the tools, habits, and coping skills that will help you build a life you do not have to escape from. A life you can keep and not lose to addiction or mental health struggles.

Treatment is about giving yourself the opportunity to heal so you can fully show up for your life when you return to it. Recovery is about building the foundation to move forward.

DBT vs CBT… what’s the difference? 🤔

Both are evidence based approaches used in therapy, but they focus on different areas and can support people in different ways depending on their needs. The good news? Both can be incredibly effective tools for healing, growth, and building a healthier, more balanced life 🤍

At Thrive, we believe treatment is not one size fits all. Different approaches, same goal: helping you thrive.

Let’s take a second to recognize and say Happy Birthday to Miles Savageau!

If you’ve been through Thrive, chances are you know Miles. As our Admissions Counselor and Alumni Coordinator, he’s become a familiar face, a steady support, and someone people never forget.

Miles goes above and beyond for this community every single day. He’s the guy making sure alumni birthdays never go unnoticed, checking in when someone hasn’t been around, and always showing up with good energy and a smile on his face.

His care for others is genuine, and the impact he has on this community runs deep. We’re grateful for everything you do, Miles. Hope this year brings you back all the love and support you give to everyone around you. 🎉

Not only is she an outstanding therapist, but she also brings a valuable perspective through her creative background and work in Art Therapy. She is one of the people who helps make the treatment process feel engaging, comfortable, and meaningful for our clients.
