I'd like to take moment and share,
Rebalanced Massage Therapy New policies for 2026
A massage therapy appointment is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation and reduction of muscular tension. I understand that massage therapists are not qualified to perform spinal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any medical conditions.
If I have a specific medical condition, massage may be contraindicated and a letter of approval from my primary care provider may be necessary prior to the session. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will immediately inform my therapist so that the pressure may be adjusted to my level of comfort. Honesty is key to getting the best results. I also understand that massage should not be construed as a substitute for medical diagnoses or treatment, and I should see a physician or other qualified medical specialists for any mental or physical aliment of which I am aware.
I understand that Rebalanced Massage Therapy LLC reserves the right to immediately discontinue a session or decline future treatments due to ANY INAPPROPIATE BEHAVIOR, and I will be charged full price for appointment scheduled!
I affirm that I have stated all my known medical history and agree to keep my massage therapist updated to any changes in my condition, nor shall there be any liability on the therapist’s part should I forget to do so.
Cancellation and Scheduling policies
* * All new clients and Any customer that have not complied with 24-hours’ notice**
*A deposit of no less than half of scheduled service is required to make an appointment. This deposit will go towards your total cost of services but will be forfeited if cancellation is made without 24-hour notice.
Services will need to be paid in full at completion of each service, and the deposit will be carried to the next scheduled appointment. (New customers can utilize the deposit for their initial visit.) If appointment is cancelled or rescheduled for less than 24 hours’ notice, then a new deposit will be needed to rebook your next appointment. This Policy applies for all individuals, couples, and travel clients.
If you have multiple appointments scheduled for the year the deposit will only be needed for your first appointment and will carry over until scheduled appointments are completed.
Those who buy punch cards will not have to provide a deposit. However, if a cancellation happens less than 24-hour notice, per the cancellation notice, half of your appointment will be due at the beginning of your next appointment or I will apply a punch on your card, whichever method you prefer. No refunds on punch cards will be given.
All minors shall be accompanied by an adult during their session and have a written consent / new client form filled out by the adult.
I am aware of the 24-hour cancellation and deposit policy. I understand I will incur a fee based on the scheduled session without 24-hour notice.
***A few key points that have already had in place but weren't written as couples massages are fairly new to my service list. ***
**A 30- Minute couples massage is a special introductory offer available to provide only for first-time clients. This is so that you can try our services to see if we are good fit. For ongoing services, we will provide any of the following 60, 90, and 120 minutes. **
**Punch cards are not available for couple’s massage. **
