On this episode of the Best of Wooster Podcast, I sat down with Bonnie Hall, President and CEO of West View Healthy Living.
Bonnie has been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for 30 years, and her heart for senior care started long before she became a leader in the field. She grew up watching both of her parents serve as administrators, started working in a facility at 15 years old, and quickly fell in love with caring for the geriatric population.
We talked about what West View Healthy Living does for residents, families, and the larger Wayne County community, and how senior living has changed over the years.
One thing that stood out to me was Bonnie’s heart for protecting the rights, dignity, and quality of life of the people she serves.
This conversation is about leadership, caregiving, active aging, advocacy, nonprofit work, and what it means to help people age well with purpose.
We also talked about West View’s growth, including their short-term skilled care, independent living apartments, Event Center, and Wellness Center.
Bonnie’s story is a reminder that senior care is not just about buildings or services.
It is about people.
It is about families.
It is about dignity.
It is about helping others live well in every season of life.
