Bloomington Medical Services, an affiliate of Wooster Community Hospital Health System, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a busy practice and provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastrointestinal care.

This position offers the opportunity to:
✨ Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions
✨ Perform endoscopies, colonoscopies, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
✨ Collaborate with advanced practice providers and a multidisciplinary healthcare team
✨ Provide individualized, patient centered care

Qualifications include:
• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
• ERCP/EUS experience preferred

Our Intensive Care Unit is looking for compassionate and dedicated RNs to provide evidence based care for acutely and critically ill medical, cardiac, and surgical patients.

In this role, you will work closely with physicians and the healthcare team, care for patients with complex needs, and support patients and families during critical moments.

• Active Ohio RN license
• Current AHA BLS
• One year of current hospital nursing experience
• New graduates may qualify with completion of a critical care preceptorship or a current Nurse Tech position

Caring for patients and supporting the people around her have been important parts of Allene H.'s 32 years of service at Wooster Community Hospital. 💙

A Registered Respiratory Therapist, Allene has expanded her experience throughout her career to include pulmonary function testing, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and neurological testing, including nerve conduction studies and EEGs.

After retiring earlier this year, Allene returned to WCH in June as a PRN Respiratory Therapist, where she continues to put that experience to work caring for patients.

What Allene enjoys most about WCH is helping patients and the relationships she's built with coworkers, both within her department and throughout the organization.

Outside of work, Allene enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

A career built on growth, collaboration, and a commitment to caring for our community. That's the story of Chris B. at Wooster Community Hospital. 💙

Chris began his career at WCH as a student Respiratory Therapist in 1994. He moved into a supervisory role in 1999 and became Director of Pulmonary/Neurology in 2004. Today, he serves as Director of Pulmonary Neurology and Sleep Center Services, as well as Director of Environmental Services.

What Chris enjoys most about working at WCH is the "Wooster Way" culture and the way employees across every department and role come together to care for patients. He values the family-like relationships he's built with coworkers and the many friendships that have grown throughout his career.

Chris also appreciates that WCH is an independent health system with strong collaborations that allow patients to receive a wide range of care close to home.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and life on his wife's family farm.

His advice to those entering the medical field is simple: learn everything you can, stay positive and flexible, and enjoy the journey.

Bloomington Medical Services, an affiliate of Wooster Community Hospital, is seeking a Medical Coder to join our Revenue Cycle team.

Responsibilities:
• Review, abstract, and assign CPT/HCPC and ICD-10 codes for BMS clinic visits and hospital services
• Assist the Revenue Cycle team with timely and compliant billing
• Collaborate with providers, practice managers, and COO to resolve coding and billing questions
• Maintain coding credentials and stay current on industry guidelines
• Research unpaid claims and resolve credit balances

Requirements:
• Training/certification from an accredited coding/billing program; must be certified upon hire or within 3 months
• Preferred: 3 years’ experience in medical office billing
• Working knowledge of computers, billing software, and Excel
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff
