We traded our usual appointments for masks, mocktails, and a room full of Worcester Railers cheerleaders! 💙

Our first private skincare night was one for the books! From diving into skincare education and answering all the girls’ questions to sharing some of our favorite products and enjoying a little pampering, we had the best time!

We love getting to connect with our community outside of the treatment room, especially when it involves helping these girls feel confident, refreshed, and ready for game day! 🏒✨

An artist’s eye, 20 years of dermatology experience, and a commitment to care that feels personal. Meet Darren. 👋

This National PA Week, we’re celebrating our PA and the dedication he brings to Commonwealth Dermatology.

With a background in fine arts and plastic surgery training during his PA studies, Darren brings a unique perspective to dermatology. He especially enjoys procedures, but at the heart of his work is building lasting relationships and working alongside patients toward their best health outcomes.

Outside the office, his creativity continues: he’s building his dream home in Sutton, tackling much of the carpentry and artistic details himself. He’s also a lifelong runner, a cross-country skiing enthusiast, and an aspiring builder of his own Porsche 911 Safari!

Can you guess how we removed this raised mole? 👀

This is an intradermal nevus—a common type of raised mole. After evaluation, it was treated using our CO₂ laser to precisely remove the raised portion while minimizing impact on the surrounding skin.

The second photo shows the area immediately after treatment. Redness and a small superficial wound are expected at this stage, and the area will continue to heal over the following weeks.

Have a raised spot that bothers you? Schedule an evaluation to learn whether CO₂ treatment may be an option. All moles and changing skin lesions should be examined by a dermatology provider before cosmetic treatment.
