This was a hard one to write.

For anyone who knows what it is to hold grief and gratitude in the same story. I see you. 💚

The work isn’t finished when the capsules are done. 🤎

A little behind the scenes of getting each placenta package ready to go home.

Prepared. Packaged. Ready for its next chapter.

Placenta and umbilical cord art always the right choice!

A lot of my process happens before I ever hit post or step in front of a classroom.

I don’t want to give you more information. I want to give you information you can actually use. That distinction matters to me.

And today’s completely unrelated question:

Do you read the instructions first or figure it out as you go?

I don’t think we need fewer boundaries.

But I do wonder if, while learning how to protect our space, we’ve forgotten how to show up in each other’s spaces.

I’m curious where you land on this.

Have we made parenting too lonely?

Day 5.

Not everything needs to be beautiful, organized, or Instagram worthy.

Sometimes the best postpartum support is simply one less thing to wash.

Today’s completely unrelated question:
Can you taste the difference between Coke and Pepsi?

There were a lot of firsts in this room.

Their first steps into becoming doulas.
My first time stepping into the role of trainer.

There’s something special about getting to be there at the beginning.

And I have a feeling this was just the beginning for all of us.

Today’s completely unrelated question:
Do you sleep with socks on?

There is nothing wrong with you. You are healing, growing, and transforming. Give yourself grace.

Life is a journey filled with ups and downs, and growth often comes with discomfort. It’s easy to be hard on yourself, to feel like you should be “further along” or “doing better.” But the truth is, every step you take—no matter how small—is part of your transformation. Healing isn’t linear, and growth isn’t always visible.

Be kind to yourself. Embrace the process. Trust that every challenge is shaping you into the person you are meant to become. You are enough, just as you are.
