Odd Fellows Home of Massachusetts is a non-profit, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care facility. What's in a name?

We know that our name sounds funny, but let us tell you a little bit about how the name came to be. Odd Fellows is historically significant dating all the way back to the 1700’s. The organization was founded on the “odd” idea of common men coming together to help those who are less fortunate. Over the years, Odd Fellows has grown into a network of formalized Lodges and Skilled Nursing Facilities,

but our mission remains the same- Friendship, Love, and Truth. Here at Odd Fellows Home in Worcester we stand committed to improving and elevating the character of mankind. We have an excellent clinical team that continues to work diligently to correct and enhance any previous shortcomings. As our mission statement indicates, we aspire daily to meet and exceed expectations and provide the gold standard of quality care. As we continue to restructure and rebrand Odd Fellows Home to be the home away from home, we ask for your continued support and partnership in this journey. Our mission is to provide our residents with the finest skilled nursing and rehabilitative services. Dedicated to the basic tenets of Friendship, Love and Truth, our highly trained staff extends compassionate care in a comfortable and secure environment that affords a dignified, meaningful, active and enhanced quality of life.

Last week, we celebrated National Nursing Home Week with an unforgettable party for our residents and staff! 🌸✨

This year’s theme, Moments in Bloom, truly came to life with beautiful floral decorations, delicious food, great music, lots of laughter, and memories we’ll cherish for a long time. 💐🎶🍽️

We had so much fun taking pictures together and celebrating the joy, friendship, and community that make our home so special. Thank you to everyone who helped make the week so meaningful and full of smiles!

Happy National Nurses Week from all of us at Odd Fellows Home! 💙🩺

We wrapped up the week with a special celebration for our incredible nurses — complete with gift bags and refreshing mocktails served in fancy cups from our mocktail bar! It was a small way to show our appreciation for the compassion, dedication, and comfort our nurses bring to our residents every single day.

We also want to give a very special congratulations to our OFH Nurse of the Year, Salome! 🌟

Salome consistently goes above and beyond with her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to resident care. Her warm spirit and dedication make a lasting difference in the lives of everyone around her, and we are so proud to celebrate her!

To all of our nurses at Odd Fellows Home: thank you for your hard work, patience, strength, and the heart you pour into caring for others. You are truly the heart of our home, and we are grateful for each and every one of you today and every day. 💐

It’s Volunteer Week! 💙

At Odd Fellows Home, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate some of our incredible volunteers who give their time, kindness, and compassion to our residents all year long. We hosted a special Volunteer Luncheon where they enjoyed a delicious meal alongside our residents and received a small gift as a token of our appreciation.

Our volunteers make such a meaningful difference—whether they’re sharing Bible stories, leading Bible study, helping with church services, or simply spending time with our residents. Their presence brings comfort, joy, and connection every single day.
