🦈🌊 Shark Week made a splash at Saint Francis! Our residents had a wonderful time learning fun facts about sharks, sharing favorite beach memories, and choosing their very own shark names. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and stories of sunny days by the ocean. It was a fintastic day of fun, friendship, and reminiscing!

🎄✨ Christmas in July is in full swing at Saint Francis Adult Day Health! ❤️

Today, our participants and staff got cozy for Christmas Pajama Day. We spread some holiday cheer by singing Christmas carols, and created some beautiful snow globes ❄️

🎶 We celebrated National Beatles Day with a little help from our friends! Our celebration featured Beatles trivia, fun prizes, and delicious Strawberry Fields-themed cupcakes. It was a groovy day filled with music, memories, and smiles! 🍓🧁🎸

🌟 Patient Success Story: Patricia Nishan 🌟

When Patricia first arrived at St. Francis Rehab, the most she could do was wiggle her toes. Today, she has been cleared to independently get in and out of bed, walk to and from the bathroom, and manage all of her daily activities—a truly incredible transformation!

Patricia chose St. Francis because of our BreatheWell Program, and she says it was one of the best decisions she could have made. Her daughters describe her as “supercharged” and say they feel like they have their mother back. For Patricia, her recovery has been a major “WOW” moment.

She credits the OmniFlow system for helping her improve her breathing by clearly showing where she needed to focus, making a real difference in her respiratory health. Patricia also shared how much she loved working with our therapy team, whose knowledge, encouragement, and dedication helped her achieve more than she ever thought possible.

“I'm 100% thankful for the care I received at St. Francis and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs rehabilitation.”

❤️🖤💚 Celebrating Juneteenth Together! ❤️🖤💚

Our residents enjoyed a special "What Freedom Means to Me" social in honor of Juneteenth. During the event, we learned about influential African American artists and discussed the significance of freedom, culture, and self-expression.

Residents then created their own colorful art palettes featuring inspiring quotes and the traditional Juneteenth colors. It was a meaningful afternoon filled with creativity, reflection, and celebration as we honored this important day in history.

What a week! We had an amazing party to kick off summer- filled with music, dancing, and laughter. We also celebrated our wonderful CNA’s as we wrapped up CNA week!

🌟 Patient Success Story 🌟

After a fall that resulted in a broken right elbow and left foot, Sandra came to Saint Francis for rehabilitation—and her progress has been remarkable.

"I would rate the rehab team a 10 out of 10. They have helped me make tremendous progress. My walking has improved so much that I am transitioning from a hemi-walker to a cane, and I’m using my arm much better with increased range of motion and no pain after therapy sessions. Everyone has been encouraging, supportive, and dedicated to helping me recover. I am very grateful for the care I have received and would highly recommend Saint Francis to anyone in need of rehabilitation services."
