Fine Tune Your Understanding. Start Advocating with a Plan.
If you’ve ever left an IEP meeting feeling overwhelmed, confused, or unsure what just happened—you’re not alone. The documents are dense. The language is technical. And the stakes for your child are high. Or you think you understand what happened, but want a second set of eyes.
That’s exactly why I offer a 2-Hour IEP Consultation designed to give you clarity, strategy, and next steps you can actually use.
Here’s how it works:
🔍 Hour 1: Deep Document Review + Draft Response Before we even meet, I carefully review your child’s most recent IEP and supporting documents. I spend up to 45 minutes reviewing the provided documents and noting:
Present levels vs. actual evaluation data
Whether goals are appropriate, measurable, and ambitious
Service delivery (minutes, setting, and providers)
Missing supports, evaluations, or red flags
Then, I may draft a response to the IEP—identifying the most common issues, so you’re not starting from scratch.
💻 Hour 2: Zoom Strategy Session We meet 1:1 to:
Walk through the IEP in plain language
Review the drafted response together
Identify strengths, concerns, and gaps
Discuss the concerns noted in your intake.
Build a clear advocacy plan for your next steps
You’ll leave with a better understanding of your “IEP Health”
This is for you if:
You just received an IEP and don’t know how to respond
You feel like something is “off” but can’t pinpoint it
You want a professional, data-driven review before signing anything
You need support translating evaluations into meaningful services
You’ve responded to the IEP, but still want a review.
You don’t have to figure this out alone. A strong IEP isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about ensuring your child makes real, effective progress.
