On July 15, we had the privilege of honoring Dorothy as we celebrated her 100th birthday. Reaching this remarkable milestone is a testament to a century of experiences, memories, resilience, and wisdom.
The celebration brought together friends, family, residents and staff to recognize Dorothy's extraordinary life and the many ways she has touched those around her. It was a joyful occasion filled with warm wishes, laughter, and gratitude.
Congratulations to Dorothy on her 100th birthday, and thank you to everyone who helped make this special celebration a memorable tribute to a truly remarkable woman.

Thank you, JHC, for organizing such a wonderful event honoring Anna for her dedicated service.
Anna was just 23 years old when she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Her sister enlisted in the United States Coast Guard at age 20, and her brother enlisted at 18, serving with the 10th Mountain Division. Anna and her siblings answered the call to serve during the final years of World War II.
Anna and her sister joined the military to help free men for combat duty overseas, demonstrating the same spirit of sacrifice and patriotism that inspired all three siblings to serve their country during a critical time in history.
The event was a fitting tribute to Anna's service and to the commitment and dedication shown by the Knollwood staff, residents, and JHC. Their efforts created a meaningful occasion that honored not only Anna's military service, but also the values of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism that she and her family exemplified.

Celebrating Pride Month! 🌈
We're celebrating Pride Month with a week-long series of fun activities and treats!
Wednesday: Start the day with a festive breakfast featuring colorful Pride-themed bagels.
Thursday: Join us for a special Pride luncheon.
Cool off with an ice cream
We'll also have a few fun challenges throughout the week for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to celebrating diversity, inclusion, and community together!
