Before Boundless, Marci dreaded going to the dentist.

Like many people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, she struggled to find a provider who truly understood her needs. Everything changed when she found a team that listened, adapted, and treated her as a person, not just a patient.

Today, she says she actually enjoys going to the dentist and is sharing her experience to help create more inclusive healthcare for others.

🐕 Service dog, therapy dog, emotional support dog. Do you know the difference?

While each can provide meaningful support, their roles, training, and public access rights are very different.

For people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, dogs may support everything from communication and emotional regulation to daily routines, community participation, and personal safety. But understanding the type of support each dog provides matters.

Treats, tails and a whole lot of drool!

Pets & People had a pawsome time at the Basset Hound Rescue Drool Slingin’ Tailgate, sharing information about our program and plenty of delicious dog treats with the four-legged attendees. 🦴💙

A big thank you to Katrina and Bonnie for helping make the event such a success! We loved meeting so many adorable basset hounds and their humans. 🐾

Some children and young adults need a different kind of school day, one designed around how they learn, communicate, and grow.

Boundless’ Center-Based Autism Services in West Carrollton combine individualized academic instruction with behavioral support, communication and social skill development, and other services throughout the school day.

The program serves children and young adults ages 3 to 22 with autism, intellectual and developmental differences, or significant behavioral needs who may not be safely or successfully supported in a traditional classroom.

Now enrolling in West Carrollton.
