“Kylee, I can’t justify spending money on another gym membership I’m just going to waste.”
Look…Fair! 😅
Because, same. If you’ve bought one before, gone for two weeks, fallen off, and then watched that payment come out every month…I just can’t blame you!
(I mean, unless you want to support us financially, I won’t say no 🤪)
But what if the membership wasn’t the problem?!
Maybe the plan attached to it, was… 💁🏼♀️
You said
“I’m going 5 days a week.”
“I’m getting up at 5 AM.”
“I’m completely changing how I eat.”
“I mean it this time.”
And then real life happens, as it does 🙄😂 (real tired of real life things over here!)
Work got crazy.
The kids needed you.
You missed a few days.
And suddenly it felt like you failed again
So what if, this time you don’t make a promise you can only keep when you’re motivated + feeling great?
Make one you can keep on a hard week! The most simple thing you can think of.
Maybe that looks like two workouts a week for 20 mins.
Walking on the treadmill when you don’t know what else to do.
Coming in after work because 24/7 access actually fits your schedule.
Or maybe, you just start with the plan to show up and you leave after 10 minutes.
The goal isn’t to prove you can go hard for two weeks.
It’s to build a routine you can still be doing six months from now, when life happens, because it will.
So before you decide another gym membership would be “a waste of money,” ask yourself
What would make this time different?
And maybe the answer isn’t “have more discipline.”
Maybe it’s start smaller! 🖤🩵
