We provide a warm, welcoming environment and highly individualized skilled nursing care. Our Care Team is specially-trained to work with seniors.

Located in the small town of Wurtland, Kentucky, Wurtland Nursing & Rehabilitation offers compassionate 24-hour Skilled Nursing care in our 126-bed facility. We listen, we understand, and develop personal therapy and care programs designed to maximize your abilities and life. This includes assisting with daily living activities and skills, such as balance training, medication management, IV therap

y, and diabetes management. Should you need support services, know that we can arrange everything from mental health consultations to x-rays, lab work to podiatry services, as well as private home and hospice care.

Congratulations to our Care Team Members, Lena and Rumar! 🎓🎉 We’re celebrating an incredible accomplishment as our Assistant Director of Nursing, Lena, and IPSD-LPN, Rumar, have officially graduated with their RN degrees!

We’re so proud of their dedication, hard work, and commitment to growing in their nursing careers. Of course, we had to celebrate this milestone with cake and ice cream.

We’re excited to bring our “Plate of the Week” culinary initiative right here into our community! 🍎🥦🥖

This friendly competition is all about enhancing the dining experience for our residents, focusing on thoughtful preparation, comforting flavors, and meals that truly feel like home. Each dish is created with both quality and nutrition in mind, while also honoring the preferences and dietary needs of those we serve.

We know that dining plays such an important role in daily life, and this initiative is helping us continue to elevate every meal - whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Our ultimate goal is to make each plate something our residents look forward to.

It’s been wonderful to see how this program is inspiring our team and bringing renewed focus to the dining experience. Because at the end of the day, great care includes great meals, and we’re proud to keep raising the bar in ways that truly matter to our residents! 🌟
