To the world, black men and women are too important to me to not acknowledge what is happening. This post specifically is for my husband, you are loved and valuable to me and the world. I don’t post frequently here, but I cannot let this moment pass without saying that I understand the pain people who look like me deal woth daily. However, I do not forget the sacrifices made by those before me to allow this opportunity to live my dreams. Please, no more hashtags for lost lives, I hope this is a change.
