Chisago County residents can request a FREE Remedy Guard Lock Box or Lock Bag to safely store medications and other substances at home, helping reduce accidental access and keep children and families safer. Chisago County Public Health offers these lock boxes and bags at no cost through their online request form.

Gardening season is upon us! Please remember that plant pots and trays do not belong in your curbside recycling bin.

Many local garden centers and “big-box” home improvement stores accept/collect used plant pots to be reused again in future years.

Chisago County offers secure medication drop-off locations where unwanted prescriptions, over-the-counter meds, and pet medications are properly disposed of.
