Come by and see us at the museum on Sunday!

Please join us on August 23 from 11am to 4pm for our first ever Inspiring Wellness Fair at The Reading Public Museum! This will be a family friendly celebration of our wonderful healthcare community in Berks County. Over 20 community healthcare organizations will be on hand to share resources and even provide some health screenings. Reservations are not needed to attend this event as a visitor. Come out and enjoy our beautiful museum and grounds while learning all about what the healthcare community in Berks County is all about!

Museum Admissions will be free this day, but donations are always appreciated to help support events like this!

Today, we participated in Berks County’s first Red Sand Project to raise awareness, spark conversation, and inspire action against the vulnerabilities that can lead to human trafficking.

The Red Sand Project is a participatory art initiative that uses red sand to represent people who have fallen through gaps in our social, economic, and political systems.

By filling sidewalk cracks with red sand, communities create a visible reminder of people who are too often overlooked and start important conversations about human trafficking, exploitation, prevention, and survivor support.

Thank you to the Berks County District Attorney’s office and the Children’s Alliance Center for hosting this event. We are proud to be a part of the team.
