Ocular migraines usually resolve, without medication, within 20 to 30 minutes from the start of the occurrence. If the ocular migraine is accompanied by a throbbing headache, then it is classified as a migraine with an aura.

Why do some people have issues seeing things close up? In these instances, the farsighted eye is slightly shorter than a normal eye and may have a more horizontal cornea. The light that reflects off of distant objects focuses behind the retina. The result is, close-up objects require greater focusing power.
