🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Our Director of Nursing! 🌟
At Holston Health & Rehabilitation, strong leadership begins with a heart for caring for others. We’re excited to spotlight our Director of Nursing , Alisha Kinsey, RN and share a little more about the experience, compassion, and dedication she brings to our Holston family. 💜💛
With 10 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing and long-term care, she has built a strong background in clinical care, leadership, and resident-centered care.
💜 What inspired you to become a nurse?
“I’ve always had a heart for helping others. Knowing I can make a difference in someone’s life, especially during their most vulnerable moments, is what inspired me to choose nursing.”
🩺 What are you most excited about in your role as Director of Nursing at Holston?
“I’m most excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact at Holston. I’m looking forward to building a strong nursing team, supporting my staff, improving resident outcomes, and creating a culture where everyone feels valued and motivated.”
🤝 What is most important to you when leading a nursing team?
“Creating a culture of teamwork, accountability, and quality resident care.”
🏡 How do you hope to make a difference for our residents and their families?
“By creating a culture where every resident feels respected, valued, safe, and cared for like family.”
💛 What do you want families to know about your approach to caring for their loved ones?
“I treat every resident like they are a member of my own family. I believe in compassionate, respectful, and individualized care while making sure every resident feels safe, heard, and valued.”
✨ What do you enjoy most about working with seniors?
“Having the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a positive difference in their daily lives.”
