OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a skilled physical therapy technician to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with helping our physical therapists and physical therapist assistants provide better care to their patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients move around the facility, clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment after each patient session, and supporting the physical therapist while they guide patients through exercises.
Some of your tasks will also be administrative in nature. For example, you will be asked to help patients fill out insurance forms. You will also answer phone calls, schedule new appointments, input exercises, and track the progress of our patients in their files. To do well in this role, you will need to have some basic familiarity with what a physical therapist does. Finally, you should also have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
