New Life friends and patients, we want to make you aware that one of our midwives, Emilie, has left our practice. She will be dearly missed.

This departure means that we have a lot of appointments to reschedule onto Dr. Chavez or in some cases Brandi’s schedule. This is going to take us some time to accomplish, and we unfortunately may not have much flexibility in our new appointment time options in the interim.

We ask for patience with our front desk staff as they work through all of these reschedules. We will communicate as best as we can to patients through means such as the patient portal, email, snail mail, phone calls and for those coming in on a regular basis, discussions at your upcoming appointments. Thanks for your support and patience during this transition.

We are currently experiencing some technical issues with our phone system at New Life. Among other things, texts are not reliably coming through to providers. If you text and do not receive a prompt response, please call the office number to speak to someone or to transfer to a provider after hours. We are working with our phone service to correct the issue as soon as possible.

We are so thankful for our providers (Dr. Chavez, Emilie and Brandi) and the excellent care that they provide for all of our patients.

We want to make our patients and community partners aware that starting in mid-August, Brandi will be limiting her clinical days to just one day a week in office (generally Tuesday) and transitioning to a role of OB back-up for the clinic schedule (as opposed to maintaining her own personal panel of patients).

For current OB patients of Brandi's, she'll be discussing this with you personally as needed at upcoming appointments, but she's still committed to working with you through the current pregnancy up until the welcoming of your little one.

This change resulted in a large number of appointments to reschedule, so some patients will receive letters from us noting the changes to future appointments.

Brandi is still a part of the New Life team and we are thankful for that, but will be supporting our patients and team in a new capacity moving forward.

There is an outage with our WiFi/Internet provider and New Life phones and computers are down at the moment due to this outage. We apologize if you are unable to get through to us. Our provider has confirmed that multiple businesses are affected and they are working on resolving this issue and restoring access.

As our schedule is filling up, New Life will be limiting the number of new patients we are able to take moving forward. We will continue to review referrals and new patient requests but will not be able to accepts as many as we have been able to these last few months. It may also take some additional time to process general referrals and inquiries. Thank you for understanding.

ALERT! If you got or get a strange email form our office manager, Eva Biarnesen, today please delete it. This account has been hacked and the hackers sent out mass emails with a link that says VIEW DOCUMENT in it that leads to an inappropriate webpage. Our IT department is actively working on shutting this down.

ATTENTION: Our phones are down at the clinic today. We are also having various server issues which may be a result of the power outage that this side of town experienced yesterday. We are reaching out to our IT services for support, and will return calls from voice messages as soon as possible once this is resolved.
