At The Terraces at Summitview in Yakima, healthy aging is about more than physical wellness. Emotional, social and spiritual well-being are an important part of community life.

At the heart of that mission is Spiritual Care Director Colleen Sheahan, lovingly known as Chaplain Colleen. Through worship services, Bible studies, one-on-one visits and everyday moments of connection, she helps residents find comfort, hope and a sense of belonging.

Her approach is simple: meet people where they are. Whether offering a prayer, listening to a story or inviting someone to dinner, Chaplain Colleen believes that sometimes the most meaningful ministry is simply being present.

🎡✨ The fun didn’t stop after our Harvest Festival!

That evening, we kept the carnival magic alive with our Dinner Under the Lights, a special multi-course dining experience that transformed classic fair favorites into an elegant culinary adventure!

Our guests enjoyed a creative menu featuring corn fritter cakes, roasted pumpkin salad, chilled street corn bisque, lobster corn dogs, butternut squash & apple ravioli, Wagyu & b**r cheese sliders, and a decadent deep-fried Tw***ie to finish the night!

And what would a carnival-inspired dinner be without specialty cotton candy cocktails? 🍭🥂

From whimsical flavors to beautiful presentation, it was a wonderful evening of delicious food, great company, and a little carnival magic! A huge thank you to our talented Culinary Team for bringing this one-of-a-kind dining experience to life! ✨

What a wonderful time we had at our Annual Harvest Festival last week! From fun games and live music to delicious food and time spent with friends, the afternoon was filled with laughter, smiles, and great memories!
